Have a bedroom furniture set that you have no idea of how to put together? Many people have the misconception that bedroom furniture takes hours and hours to set up and is very difficult, but its actually the exact opposite. It is actually the easiest to setup out of all the furniture that you might purchase for your home.
Heres the reason, 90% of the pieces in a bedroom set are 100% assembled. Case goods such as your Night Stand, Dresser, and Chest of drawers are all assembled and ready to go. The only thing that will need assembly is your bed and probably your mirror to be attached to the wall or the dresser.
Step 1: Take all case goods out of their boxes by sliding it out of the box by tilting it to its side.
Step 2: Place and arrange your drawers/case goods in your room, be sure to leave a space for your bed.
Step 3: Assemble your bed: Most beds are comprised of 4 main pieces, a headboard, foot board, rails and slats. Position the headboard at the head of the bed, the foot board at the foot of the bed, the rails go on the sides. The rails usually have hooks on each end make sure they are pointing in the downwards position. Then hook the rails into the headboard and foot board slots. Next you will have to nail/screw in the slats go lay across the bed horizontally. Tip: if the bed assembly kit did not come with enough sufficient support you might want to consider buying additional slats from wood that you can purchase at the local hardware store and cutting it to size.
Step 4: Place your mattress on top of the bed.
